1.PSA is a kind of advanced gas separation technology, It in today's world of the gas supply has irreplaceable.
Adsorbent is a PSA central part of nitrogen making equipment. Generally, PSA nitrogen making the equipment selection is carbon molecular sieve, It traps the oxygen in air, carbon dioxide, water, but the nitrogen can't be adsorption.
Pressure Swing Adsorption Principle
In the case of adsorption equilibrium, Any kind of absorbent adsorption in the same gas, gas pressure is higher, the greater the amount of the absorbent suck; Conversely, the lower the pressure, the adsorption quantity of the greater the amount the smaller suck.
As mentioned above, in the air pressure increases, molecular sieve adsorption of carbon oxygen, carbon dioxide and water. When the pressure to the atmospheric pressure, Carbon molecular sieve to oxygen, carbon dioxide and water adsorption capacity is very small
PSA equipment is mainly composed of A and B two molecular sieve adsorption tower with carbon and control systems. When compressed air (pressure is commonly 0.8 Mpa) from next to first through A tower, Oxygen, carbon dioxide and water be carbon by molecular sieve adsorption, but the nitrogen is through out from the top. When A molecular sieve adsorption tower saturated and then it switch to B tower above of adsorption process and at the same time A tower to regenerate A molecular sieve. The so-called renewable, Adsorption tower is the atmosphere to vent to quickly reduce pressure to atmospheric pressure, make the molecular sieve adsorption of oxygen, carbon dioxide and water in from molecular sieve to release.
2. Compressed air clarification system
Compressed air pass through 9 grade filters,then pass through cooling type dryer.let the compressed air cooling,let the vapour in the air condensation into water,along with dust,oil drain out the machine.It’s better to put the cooling dryer in the compressed room.
After the cooling dryer is the filters,there are two group filters,one is 7 grade main pipeline filters,another is 5 grade high quality oil removing filter.7 grade main pipeline filter precision is 1um,filter out 1um and larger solid state and liquid particle,vestigital oil content 1ppm w/w.5 grade high quality oil removing filter filtrate precision 0.01um,remove 0.01um and larger solid state and liquid particle, 99.9999+% oil,the rest oil content 0.001 ppm w/w. Compressed air quality can reach 1 class according to ISO8573.1. Such clean and dry compressed air can inlet active carbon filter,air buffer tank then inlet nitrogen generator part,after PSA device make out the nitrogen purity ≥99%.

Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) is an advanced gas separate technique,it is widely used in gas supply field in the world.
3 .1 Adsorbing material
Adsorbing material is the center part of PSA nitrogen generator,Normally use the the Carbon Molecular Sieve,it can adsorb the oxygen,CO2,water in the air,but can’t adsorb the nitrogen..
3.2 PSA principal
Because O2 and N2 these two gas molecule have diffusion rate difference on the molecule sieve surface,O2 smaller diameter can diffuse faster,most of them inlet micropore of CMS,the large diameter N2 diffuse slowly,less of them can inlet ,use this adsorption difference come true O2 and N2 separate.
